Founded in 2021,Shanghai Milestone Technology Co., Ltd. (Milestone Technology) is a professional company engaged in the R&D of "Hydrogen Mineral Phase Transformation (HMPT)" and complete industrial equipment manufacturing, installation, operation and service. Relying on the discipline advantages of mining and metallurgy of Northeastern University, Milestone Technology has formed a development model of Enterprise-University-Research- Application Integration.
We have more than 300 employees. The scientific research team is led by Professor Han Yuexin from Northeastern University. Our semi-industrial test base, Chaoyang NEU Minerals and Metallurgy Institute is located in Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province.

We have completed the experimental research work of more than 40 kinds of complex refractory iron ore resources from worldwide, and successfully developed the new industrial equipment based on HMPT and realized the industrial application of HMPT. In 2020, a manganese ore processing project with 600,000 tons annual processing capacity has been built in Zambia, a country along "The Belt and Road". Based on the application of HMPT, the manganese and iron are successfully recovered with the recovery rate of 86.45% and 96.94%. The estimate annual benefit will be 300 million yuan.
At present, we have accumulatively completed the preliminary/basic design of 10 million tons/year for Hainan Mining、Shanxi Baoshan Mining and other clients. The feasibility study report of the construction plan for the annual processing capacity of 50 million tons of iron ore in the coastal areas of China has also been completed. Once the whole construction plan is put into operation, it is expected that the annual output value will exceed 40 billion yuan and the total annual profit and tax amount will exceed 5 billion yuan. In the next five years, Milestone Technology plans to build a total scale of 200 million tons processing capacity HMPT project at home and abroad.
